Amidst the business-like atmosphere of the neighborhood, the location feels secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it perfect for a quick meeting or a coffee/brunch date. Occupying the ground floor of a beautifully restored townhouse, the interior is bright with high ceilings and cutely decorated. The staff is lovely with an expertise in the perfectly-brewed cup of coffee. There was literally one staff member dedicated to making excellent coffee and let’s just say he is on to something! His friendliness brought great joy to the whole experience.

Besides the all-around perfect cup of coffee, we were more than pleased with the scrambled eggs on avo toast with halloumi. The eggs were perfectly seasoned and silky - the type that melts in the mouth. We also had the pan con tomate with eggs - the garlicky tomato glazed sourdough was an excellent pairing with the fried yolky eggs. We shared a delicious chocolate peanut butter smoothie for a sweet ending.

We had a look at their early evening small plates with items like oysters, sharing cheese, cracker plates and gnocchi. There’s also an appealing selection of natural wine (red, rose, and orange) and a range of good-old cocktails. Seems like the perfect place for a post-work catch up with friends or colleagues accompanied by great food and wine. We’ll be coming back for this.
